Join this 7-day photography expedition exploring some of the wildest corners of the North Atlantic. Throughout this adventure, you'll receive personalized guidance to build your confidence in the water with wild animals, improve your underwater camera and housing setup and your camera settings, and develop your postproduction skills. With hands-on mentoring and individual feedback, you'll have the opportunity to grow as an underwater photographer while experiencing the incredible marine life of the Azores. DATES: August 23–29, 2027 EXPEDITION PRICE: $3,400 per person PAYMENT TERMS: - An $800 nonrefundable deposit is required to secure your spot. - The remaining balance of $2,600 is due by May 25, 2027 (90 days before departure). - Bookings made on or after May 25, 2027 require full payment at the time of booking. - Full payment is also available at the time of reservation. PHOTOGRAPHY EXPEDITIONS — BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICY **Reservations & Payments** A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation and is applied toward the total expedition price. The deposit amount, total price, and payment schedule are specified on each expedition. Unless otherwise stated, the remaining balance is due 90 days before departure. Bookings made within 90 days of departure require full payment at reservation. Failure to complete payment by the deadline may result in cancellation of the reservation, subject to the cancellation terms below. **Cancellations by Participants** All cancellations must be submitted in writing. The cancellation date is determined by the date the written request is received. - **More than 90 days before departure:** The deposit is non-refundable. Any additional payments will be refunded. - **60–90 days before departure:** The deposit is non-refundable. Participants will receive a refund of 50% of any payments made toward the remaining balance. - **Less than 60 days before departure:** All payments made are non-refundable. If a participant cancels before paying the full balance, no additional payment will be required. The applicable refund terms will be based on the amount already paid and the date of cancellation. **Expedition Changes & Weather** Wildlife encounters cannot be guaranteed. Itineraries, activities, and photography locations may change due to weather, water conditions, wildlife activity, or safety considerations. Itinerary adjustments do not entitle participants to partial or full refunds. **Cancellation by the Organizer** If the organizer cancels an expedition before departure, participants will receive a full refund of all payments made toward that expedition, including the deposit. The organizer is not responsible for flights, travel arrangements, or other expenses outside the expedition package. **Travel & Dive Insurance** Travel insurance is strongly recommended to cover trip cancellations, medical emergencies, evacuation, and travel interruptions. DAN insurance is required. Participants must ensure their insurance provides appropriate coverage for the activities included in their expedition. **Participant Responsibilities** Participants must meet the swimming, diving, and water-comfort requirements and follow all safety instructions. Participants are responsible for their own flights, valid travel documents, and meeting any destination-specific requirement.
