Bahamas Photo Expedition

Gran Bahama, part of the Bahamas, is the perfect location for those who want both adventure and peace. The island has plenty of beautiful beaches, offering many quiet places away from the crowds. You can enjoy private exploring empty beaches and untouched reefs. Gran Bahama is an ideal setting for the perfect getaway.

Under the ocean around the island, there is a colorful world full of marine life and differently than a lot of other places in the world, the wildlife is healthy. You won’t believe the amount of fish inhabiting these waters. The coral reefs are home to bright fish and gentle sea turtles, and it’s common to stumble upon the most playful dolphins you have ever encountered. The shark and ray population is also very healthy, allowing you to experience the beauty of these predators safely. The clear waters make it easy to take great photos of the seascapes and many sea creatures.

Leading an expedition to Gran Bahama is not just about taking beautiful pictures; it’s about enjoying the calm and the thrill of exploring a rich marine world. The island cares about conservation and sustainable tourism, protecting its marine areas for the future. By sharing our photos and experiences, we hope to inspire others to appreciate and protect the wonderful wildlife and clear waters of Gran Bahama. Each dive shows us the ocean’s beauty and the need to keep it safe.

Accommodations and notes

Our island home sits by the water on a very private side of the island. The goal is to experience nature away from the crowds to give you the best chance at learning photography with the right conditions and privacy.

My team and I will do our best to curate the best island adventure. The ocean is wild and unpredictable, so keep in mind that conditions like visibility and wind are completely random and wildlife interactions are not guaranteed. With that said we are on an adventure together and we will make the absolute best out of what the ocean and nature offer us.

We will be living island-style for a week and must be comfortable with shared accommodations.
